Vigilance Awareness Week is an initiative by the Central Vigilance Commission (CVC) to combat corruption in India through awareness, education, and active participation of citizens. This week-long observance serves to strengthen ethics and transparency within governance and public administration, aligning with Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel’s birth anniversary on October 31.

Key Details of Vigilance Awareness Week 2024

Dates : October 28 to November 3, 2024

Theme : “Culture of Integrity for Nation’s Prosperity”

Objective : To foster a vigilant society that actively opposes corruption, promotes moral principles, and supports ethical governance.

  • Educate the public on the extent of corruption and its negative impacts on social justice, economic development, and national security.
